Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the bang bang sauce.
  3. In another bowl, set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each shrimp in flour, dip in the egg, and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the breaded shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp are golden and crispy.
  7. Serve the shrimp with the bang bang sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp in the bang bang sauce for 30 minutes before breading.
