Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the bang bang sauce.
- In another bowl, set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each shrimp in flour, dip in the egg, and then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Place the breaded shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp are golden and crispy.
- Serve the shrimp with the bang bang sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp in the bang bang sauce for 30 minutes before breading.
- Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
