Description
Baked Ham and Cheese Crescent Rolls are delicious roll-ups filled with savory ham and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for a quick snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 tube crescent roll dough
- 16 slices of deli ham
- 8 slices of cheddar cheese, halved (I use reduced fat)
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp honey
- 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Set the oven to 375 degrees.
- Add the dijon mustard and honey to a small bowl. Combine and set aside.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into the 8 crescent roll triangles.
- Take a triangle of dough and spread it out until there is one clear wide end and it is shaped like an isosceles triangle. Add a bit of the honey mustard mixture to the dough and spread evenly.
- Place one half of a cheddar cheese slice at the long end of the triangle. Place the ham slices on top of the cheese and then add the remaining half of cheese on top of the ham. Repeat for the remaining roll-ups.
- Carefully roll up the dough, starting at the wide end and rolling towards the top of the triangle.
- Add the melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder to a small bowl. Combine thoroughly.
- Transfer the ham and cheese roll-ups to a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Spread the garlic butter mixture on top of each roll.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let sit for a few minutes. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For a healthier option, use reduced-fat cheese.
- These roll-ups can be served as an appetizer or a main dish.
- Feel free to add other ingredients like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor.
