Description

A flavorful recipe for marinated grilled shrimp that is easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lime juice, parsley, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the ingredients together until well mixed.
  2. Marinate the Shrimp: Add the peeled and deveined shrimp into the bowl, making sure they are fully coated in the marinade. Cover the bowl and let the shrimp marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes (or up to 1 hour for deeper flavor).
  3. Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high. If using skewers, soak wooden skewers in water for about 10 minutes to prevent burning.
  4. Grill the Shrimp: Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers and grill for approximately 2–3 minutes per side, or until they turn a nice pink color and are opaque.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Remove the shrimp from the grill and serve hot with your favorite side dishes or dipping sauce!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • Make sure not to overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
  • These shrimp can also be cooked in a grill pan if you don’t have an outdoor grill.
