Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Add milk and melted butter, and stir until combined.
  4. Fold in blueberries gently.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  6. Spread a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon over the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a sweeter roll, add a glaze made of powdered sugar and milk on top.
  • Can substitute fresh blueberries with frozen ones, but adjust baking time accordingly.
