Description

A nutritious and delicious bake that combines broccoli, cauliflower, and cottage cheese for a satisfying side or main dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine broccoli and cauliflower florets.
  3. In another bowl, mix cottage cheese, shredded cheese, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  4. Add the cottage cheese mixture to the vegetables and mix until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added crunch.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the mixture is set.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
