Description

This caramel apple fruit dip is a sweet, creamy, and delicious dessert dip perfect for parties or snacks. Made with simple ingredients, it captures the classic taste of caramel apples in an easy-to-serve format.

Ingredients

  • 1 bar (8 oz) full-fat cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup caramel sauce, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 bag (8 oz) chocolate toffee bits, divided

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer bowl or a mixing bowl with an electric hand mixer, beat the cream cheese, brown sugar, 1/2 cup of caramel sauce, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add half of the chocolate toffee bits and blend on low speed just until mixed in.
  3. Transfer the cream cheese mixture into a 9-inch pie plate and spread it into an even layer.
  4. Top with the remaining toffee bits and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top.
  5. Serve with your favorite sliced apples.
  6. For a chilled dip, cover the pie plate and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • To prevent apple slices from browning, place them in a bowl of cold water with a squirt of lemon juice immediately after slicing. Pat dry before serving.
  • The dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
