Ingredients
- 1 box brownie mix
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherries, pitted and halved
Instructions
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and bake in a 9×13 inch pan. Allow to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Cut the cooled brownies into small squares.
- In a trifle dish or individual cups, layer the brownie squares, cheesecake mixture, caramel sauce, and cherries.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of caramel sauce and cherries on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate brownie mix.
- Feel free to substitute cherries with other fruits like strawberries or raspberries.
