Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 tbsp garlic butter
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a large skillet, melt the garlic butter over medium heat and add the ground beef.
- Cook the beef until browned, then season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked penne, ground beef mixture, and half of the shredded cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheese and grated Parmesan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
