Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar together. Then add the egg, honey, and vanilla, whisking until well combined.
- Stir in the flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and remaining ½ teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle it over the batter.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the blondies to cool completely before cutting.
