This crockpot ranch chicken is a creamy, flavorful dish that cooks effortlessly in your slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a crockpot.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
- Add cream cheese and pour chicken broth over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Optional: stir in shredded cheddar cheese and cooked bacon just before serving for extra flavor.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
