Description

A delicious and easy-to-make dessert that combines the flavors of Oreo cookies and traditional cannoli cream in a pie form.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 15 cookies)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  3. Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  6. Fold in the mini chocolate chips into the cream mixture.
  7. Spread the cannoli cream mixture over the cooled Oreo crust.
  8. Top with whipped cream and additional chocolate chips if desired.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
