Description

An easy and flavorful turkey recipe that takes the stress out of preparation for Thanksgiving, ensuring a tender and juicy centerpiece for your feast.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey (1214 lbs)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Remove the turkey from the packaging and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the outside and inside of the turkey with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.
  4. Place the turkey in a roasting pan, breast side up.
  5. Pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for approximately 13 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving. Enjoy your flavorful roasted turkey!
