Description

Eggnog cheesecake combines the creamy texture of cheesecake with the festive flavors of traditional eggnog, making it the perfect holiday dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth.
  5. Add vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg and mix well.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Gradually add eggnog and mix until creamy.
  8. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set and slightly jiggly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Before serving, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  12. Spread or pipe spiced whipped cream over the cheesecake. Serve chilled.
