Description

A refreshing and colorful blend of frozen fruits and tequila, perfect for festive occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 ½ cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 ½ cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 ½ cups tequila
  • ¾ cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • ¼ cup triple sec
  • ¼ cup simple syrup (optional)
  • Salt and sugar for rimming glasses
  • Lime slices for garnish
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare 3 bowls: one for each fruit (strawberry, blueberry, pineapple).
  2. Blend the frozen strawberries, ½ cup tequila, ¼ cup lime juice, and 1 tablespoon simple syrup in a blender until smooth. Transfer to a bowl.
  3. Repeat the same process with the blueberries and pineapple, using separate bowls.
  4. Optional: rim the glasses with a mix of salt and sugar by running a lime slice along the rim and dipping into the mix.
  5. To serve, layer the slushies in glasses, starting with the strawberry mixture, followed by the blueberry and pineapple slushies.
  6. Garnish with a lime slice and mint sprig, and serve immediately!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the tequila and triple sec.
  • Feel free to mix and match fruits based on your preference.
