Ingredients
- 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced
- 1 package puff pastry (2 sheets)
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into squares.
- On half of each square, layer slices of roast beef, shredded provolone cheese, and a sprinkle of garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fold the pastry over to form a pocket and seal the edges.
- Place on a baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; heat for dipping.
- Serve warm with au jus.
