Description
Enjoy a quick and satisfying Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese. This recipe combines the crunch of garlic bread with the gooeyness of melted cheese for a perfect 15-minute comfort food meal.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 slices of bread (white, sourdough, or your favorite)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, covering the surface evenly.
- Place two slices butter-side down on a skillet or board. Add half the cheese to each slice.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up, to complete the sandwiches.
- Heat a skillet over low heat. Cook sandwiches for 4–5 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- Flip carefully and cook the other side for another 4–5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve immediately while hot and gooey.
Notes
- Use low heat to ensure the cheese melts without burning the bread.
- Softened butter spreads more easily and evenly.
- Pairs perfectly with tomato soup for a classic combo.
- Customize with your favorite cheese or add-ins like tomatoes or jalapeños.
