Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- In a baking dish, layer the cooked lasagna noodles, shrimp mixture, and mozzarella cheese, repeating until all ingredients are used.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and parsley.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the shrimp mixture.
- Feel free to substitute the shrimp with chicken or vegetables for a different flavor.
