A delicious and flavorful roasted turkey breast infused with garlic and herbs, perfect for any festive occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 turkey breast (about 4–5 pounds)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels and rub the herb butter mixture all over the turkey.
- Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan and pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
- Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Baste the turkey with the pan juices every 30 minutes for added flavor and moisture.
- Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can marinate the turkey breast overnight with the herb butter.
- Serve with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
