Description

A fun and spooky twist on traditional deviled eggs, perfect for Halloween parties.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 6 black olives (for decoration)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Eggs: Place large eggs in a pot filled with cold water. Bring to a rolling boil, cover, and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool and Peel: Transfer boiled eggs to ice water immediately after cooking for easier peeling.
  3. Create the Filling: Slice eggs in half lengthwise and scoop yolks into a bowl. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Add Spooky Decor: Spoon or pipe the filling back into egg whites. Use black olives to create spider shapes on top.
  5. Garnish & Serve: Dust with paprika before serving and arrange on a platter.

Notes

  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce to the filling.
  • These can be made a day in advance; just keep them refrigerated.
