Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups water or milk
- 2 ripe pears, diced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring water or milk to a boil.
- Add rolled oats and a pinch of salt.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in diced pears, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until creamy.
- Remove from heat and top with chopped pistachios before serving.

You can substitute pears with other fruits like apples or peaches. For a nut-free option, replace pistachios with seeds or omit them.
