Description
Hot Honey Feta Chicken is a delicious oven-baked dish featuring juicy chicken thighs topped with a spicy honey glaze and a crispy feta breadcrumb crust.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/3 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: chili flakes for extra heat
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix hot honey, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush each piece of chicken generously with the hot honey mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix feta cheese and panko breadcrumbs. Press this mixture on top of each chicken thigh, gently patting to help it stick.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the feta topping is golden and crisp.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and chili flakes, if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add more chili flakes to the hot honey mixture.
- Ensure the chicken is fully cooked by checking the internal temperature.
- This dish pairs well with a side salad or roasted vegetables.
