Italian Garlic Bread Sloppy Joes are a delicious twist on the classic sloppy joe, featuring savory ground beef and a rich tomato sauce served on crispy garlic bread.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of garlic bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the garlic bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes.
- Remove the garlic bread from the oven, spoon the beef mixture onto each slice, and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!

- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
- Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
