Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough.
- Layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, and mushrooms on top of the sauce.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning over the filling.
- Carefully roll the dough from one long side to the other, sealing the edges.
- Place the rolled Stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet.
- Brush the top with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Make a few slits on top to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
