A delicious copycat recipe for Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken, featuring a crispy, cheesy crust and tender chicken.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, beat the eggs.
- Place the flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for a few hours before cooking.
