Description

A delicious low-carb pizza casserole made with ground beef, bell peppers, onions, and gooey mozzarella, perfect for busy weeknights and families.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 jar (15 oz) pizza sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped bell peppers and onions to the skillet, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in the pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the beef mixture, half of the cheese, and then the remaining beef mixture. Top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
