Ingredients
- 24 tater tots – cooked and crispy
- 8 small beef patties – about 1 ounce each, seasoned to taste
- 4 slices cheddar cheese – cut into quarters
- 8 cherry tomatoes – sliced
- 8 small lettuce leaves
- 8 pickle slices
- Ketchup and mustard – for topping
- 8 toothpicks – to hold everything together
Instructions
- Prepare the Tater Tots: Cook the tater tots according to package instructions until golden brown and crispy. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Cook the Beef Patties: Season the beef patties with salt and pepper. Pan-fry over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Add a piece of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Assemble the Tater Tot Cheeseburgers: Place a tater tot on the bottom, layer with a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and the cheesy beef patty. Add another tater tot, a pickle slice, and a dollop of ketchup and mustard. Secure with a toothpick.
