Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (about 2 oranges)
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Add melted butter, orange juice, and zest; mix until smooth.
- Fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cooling in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice into squares and enjoy!
