Description
Make perfectly crispy oven roasted cauliflower with simple ingredients and bold flavor. A healthy, easy side dish everyone will love.
Ingredients
-
1 large head of cauliflower
-
3 tablespoons olive oil
-
1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
-
Optional seasonings: smoked paprika, turmeric, cumin, or chili flakes
-
Fresh lemon juice or chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
-
Cut the cauliflower into evenly sized florets.
-
Dry the florets thoroughly with a clean towel.
-
Toss the cauliflower with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional spices in a large bowl.
-
Spread the florets in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Avoid crowding.
-
Roast in the oven for 25–35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy on the edges.
-
Finish with lemon juice, parsley, or your favorite topping, and serve warm.
Notes
-
Dry thoroughly before roasting to avoid steaming.
-
Cut florets evenly so they roast at the same rate.
-
Use a hot oven (425°F or higher) to get that crispy caramelization.
-
Don’t overcrowd the pan—spread florets out for best results.
-
Experiment with seasonings to match your meal: curry, taco spice, or Italian herbs all work well.
-
Leftovers? Reheat in an air fryer or oven for crispiness.
