Description

Make perfectly crispy oven roasted cauliflower with simple ingredients and bold flavor. A healthy, easy side dish everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

  • Optional seasonings: smoked paprika, turmeric, cumin, or chili flakes

  • Fresh lemon juice or chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  • Cut the cauliflower into evenly sized florets.

  • Dry the florets thoroughly with a clean towel.

  • Toss the cauliflower with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional spices in a large bowl.

  • Spread the florets in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Avoid crowding.

  • Roast in the oven for 25–35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy on the edges.

  • Finish with lemon juice, parsley, or your favorite topping, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Dry thoroughly before roasting to avoid steaming.

  • Cut florets evenly so they roast at the same rate.

  • Use a hot oven (425°F or higher) to get that crispy caramelization.

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan—spread florets out for best results.

  • Experiment with seasonings to match your meal: curry, taco spice, or Italian herbs all work well.

  • Leftovers? Reheat in an air fryer or oven for crispiness.

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 30minutes
