Peach Crumble Bars are a delicious dessert featuring a buttery crumble topping over sweet, juicy peaches, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix sliced peaches with lemon juice and set aside.
- In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
- Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Spread the peach mixture evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top of the peaches.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free flour blend.
- These bars can be served warm or cold.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
