Delicious Peanut Butter Butterfinger Cookies that combine the rich flavor of peanut butter with the crunch of Butterfinger candy bars.
Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped Butterfinger candy bars
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat together the peanut butter, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped Butterfinger candy bars.
- Scoop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are golden and centers are set.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
- For a chewier texture, do not overbake the cookies.
