Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 slices provolone cheese or 1 cup shredded provolone
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil.
- Add the onion and bell pepper, and cook until softened.
- Add the garlic and ground beef, cooking until the beef is browned.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper.
- Place provolone cheese over the mixture, cover to melt.
- Stir to combine, then spoon onto buns and serve hot.
