Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sandwich rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large Dutch oven, heat some oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Season the beef chuck roast with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika, then add it to the pot.
  5. Pour in the beef broth, barbecue sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Cover the pot and place it in the oven. Cook for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
  7. Remove the beef from the pot and shred it with two forks.
  8. Return the shredded beef to the pot and mix it with the sauce.
  9. Serve the pulled beef on sandwich rolls.
