Ingredients
- 1 sleeve Saltine crackers
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 2 cups Chocolate chips
- Optional toppings (e.g., chopped nuts, sea salt)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and place a single layer of Saltine crackers on it.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Pour the hot mixture over the Saltine crackers, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Once the chocolate is melted, spread it evenly, and add any optional toppings if desired.
- Let it cool completely, then break into pieces and enjoy!
