Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve Saltine crackers
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 cups Chocolate chips
  • Optional toppings (e.g., chopped nuts, sea salt)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and place a single layer of Saltine crackers on it.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until the mixture comes to a boil.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the Saltine crackers, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
