Description

A delightful twist on the classic margarita, blending vibrant fruit juices with aromatic spices for a festive holiday cocktail.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tequila (e.g. Patron silver)
  • 2.5 oz Pomegranate juice
  • 2 oz Orange juice
  • 0.5 oz Orange liqueur (e.g. Cointreau)
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • ΒΌ tsp vanilla extract
  • β…› tsp Ground cinnamon
  • β…› tsp Ground ginger
  • 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
  • 1 sprig Rosemary
  • Ginger beer (optional)

Instructions

  1. Run a slice of tangerine or orange around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip the rim into a cinnamon sugar mixture. Fill the glass with ice.
  2. Add pomegranate juice, tangerine juice, tequila, orange liqueur, honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of cayenne pepper to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake for 15 seconds until well-chilled.
  4. Strain the cocktail into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
  5. Add a splash of ginger beer for a bubbly, festive touch (optional).
  6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Notes
