A delightful twist on the classic margarita, blending vibrant fruit juices with aromatic spices for a festive holiday cocktail.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Tequila (e.g. Patron silver)
- 2.5 oz Pomegranate juice
- 2 oz Orange juice
- 0.5 oz Orange liqueur (e.g. Cointreau)
- 1 tbsp Honey
- ΒΌ tsp vanilla extract
- β tsp Ground cinnamon
- β tsp Ground ginger
- 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
- 1 sprig Rosemary
- Ginger beer (optional)
Instructions
- Run a slice of tangerine or orange around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip the rim into a cinnamon sugar mixture. Fill the glass with ice.
- Add pomegranate juice, tangerine juice, tequila, orange liqueur, honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of cayenne pepper to a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake for 15 seconds until well-chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Add a splash of ginger beer for a bubbly, festive touch (optional).
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Notes
