Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth.
  4. Add the cooled sugar syrup and lemon juice to the blender and blend until well combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  6. Once the sorbet is firm, scoop and serve.
