Description

A magical combination of sticky sweetness and fiery heat, this Sweet & Spicy Glazed Salmon Candy is an irresistible seafood snack perfect for entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet (skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • Scallions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes to create a thick glaze.
  3. Toss the salmon cubes in the glaze, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Arrange salmon pieces on the baking sheet, leaving space for even cooking. Bake for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through.
  5. If desired, broil for an additional 1–2 minutes for a sticky finish.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped scallions, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra spice, adjust red pepper flakes to taste. This recipe can be adjusted for gluten-free diets by using coconut aminos.
