Description

Taco lasagna is a delicious fusion of traditional lasagna and Mexican flavors, featuring layers of pasta, seasoned ground beef, cheese, and taco toppings.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
  4. Add taco seasoning and salsa to the beef, stirring to combine.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a layer of the beef mixture, followed by a layer of noodles, then a layer of cheese.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving, then top with sour cream, green onions, and cilantro if desired.
