Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Skewers (soaked in water if wooden)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, garlic, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
- Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque.
- Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add chopped cilantro or green onions as a garnish.
- Serve with a side of jasmine rice or a fresh salad.
- Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control the spiciness.
