Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, and egg.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  9. While baking, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to create icing.
  10. Drizzle icing over warm rolls before serving.
