  • Author: YOUSSEF litim
  • Total Time: 25–30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

1.5 lbs red potatoes (washed and cut into halves or quarters)

1.5 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, or chili flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.

  • Prep potatoes: Wash, dry, and cut red potatoes into equal-sized chunks.

  • Season: In a bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Load air fryer basket: Arrange potatoes in a single layer, without overcrowding.

  • Air fry: Cook for 15–20 minutes at 400°F, shaking the basket halfway through.

  • Check doneness: Potatoes should be crispy on the outside and tender inside.

  • Garnish & serve: Top with chopped parsley or optional add-ons like Parmesan.

Notes

  • Dry potatoes thoroughly before seasoning for better crispiness.

  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer—work in batches if needed.

  • Shake the basket halfway for even browning.

  • Preheating the air fryer helps achieve that perfect golden crust.

  • Finish with a touch of flaky sea salt or a splash of lemon juice for extra flavor.
