Ingredients
1.5 lbs red potatoes (washed and cut into halves or quarters)
1.5 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, or chili flakes
Instructions
-
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
-
Prep potatoes: Wash, dry, and cut red potatoes into equal-sized chunks.
-
Season: In a bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
-
Load air fryer basket: Arrange potatoes in a single layer, without overcrowding.
-
Air fry: Cook for 15–20 minutes at 400°F, shaking the basket halfway through.
-
Check doneness: Potatoes should be crispy on the outside and tender inside.
-
Garnish & serve: Top with chopped parsley or optional add-ons like Parmesan.
Notes
-
Dry potatoes thoroughly before seasoning for better crispiness.
-
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer—work in batches if needed.
-
Shake the basket halfway for even browning.
-
Preheating the air fryer helps achieve that perfect golden crust.
-
Finish with a touch of flaky sea salt or a splash of lemon juice for extra flavor.
