Ingredients
- 12 sheets lasagna noodles
- 2 cups béchamel sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté mushrooms until golden. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- In a baking dish, layer noodles, béchamel sauce, beef mixture, mozzarella, and provolone cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Feel free to experiment with different cheeses for a unique flavor twist. For a vegetarian option, replace ground beef with sautéed vegetables.
