Description

A creamy, indulgent alternative to traditional lasagna featuring béchamel sauce, cheeses, and savory beef.


Ingredients

  • 12 sheets lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups béchamel sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté mushrooms until golden. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  4. In a baking dish, layer noodles, béchamel sauce, beef mixture, mozzarella, and provolone cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving.
